interventions on calgary’s +15 public walkway system.   

selected through competition and constructed and exhibited for two weeks.  scrim animated the 60 foot long glass clad bridge by installing a simple translucent fabric along the one side four theatrical lighting instruments from the other.  the structure became an interactive lens addressing on coming traffic with a shifting animations of body and movement. the shadow of the user became a lens through which the city was engaged.
