the master plan design recognized three discrete zones of possible redevelopment. provide a new public entry to the south east corner of the artscentre, a new main access from olympic plazawhere transparency is also a key design element. the building’s skin will function doubly as a kind of “abstracted broadway” employing various movable screen and projection surfaces. the building’s public interiors will be completely redefined using a fragmented curvilinear geometry.
