a formal manifestation of the interstitial ideological void that exists in and around the political refugee. it developed into an attempt to create an expressive formal and tectonic language capable of acting on and symbolizing the transitional state and space. its value is as a ruin, acknowledging the fluctuations that result from political frictions. This research led to FORM/POLITIC2 and ROMALUX.
